Altrusa is an international non-profit organization making a real difference through community partnerships and numerous local service projects.  We enjoy the friendship, fun and satisfaction that comes from working together for the benefit of our local community.  

Membership in Altrusa is extended to individuals who are seeking membership in a service organization.  We achieve as a group what individuals cannot do alone. Being a service organization we offer the opportunity for you to serve your community with other people who also value service.  It provides networking opportunities, and long lasting friendships. We feel membership in Altrusa is an honor and it is also an opportunity to meet people that have the same desire to work together in helping others. We encourage all members to attend meetings on a regular basis, participate in club projects.

Annual membership dues are $100.00 a year. Once you become a member you are a part of an International Organization that is made up of 14 Districts throughout the world.  You will be invited to participate in annual conferences, workshops and leadership training seminars. These conferences are a great learning experience and also much fun. It is an honor to be an Altrusan.

MEETINGS – Altrusa of Laconia meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm. Meetings are March through December with no meeting in January and February. Programs to follow when scheduled.
